Most private health insurers will cover the cost of treatments with BAcC registered acupuncturists for a variety of medical conditions, so it is worth contacting your insurance provider to see if you can reclaim part or all of your treatment costs. You may not even require a referral from your GP.  

If you have a health insurance provider, please check out the BAcC’s open list to obtain contact details of providers and to access more information as to whether you are eligible.

You will need to contact your own provider yourself in order to ensure you are covered and to request reimbursement of treatment costs. Please do not hesitate to ask if you require a receipt or invoice.

I am now also registered directly with AXA. If your policy includes acupuncture then you will be able to select me from their list of providers. Your treatment costs will be covered without the need for upfront payment. Please ensure you have obtained pre-authorisation before commencing treatment.
